Today’s summer inspiration comes from this modern pool house and the undeniable focal point of our Beach Road project - the pool, designed and built by Island Pools. For over 25 years, this locally owned and operated business, led by Ted Rosbeck, has specialized in creating custom pools, from classic designs to luxurious systems, with a commitment to creativity, workmanship, and dependability.

The Beach Road pool features a sun shelf with built-in loungers, ideal for enjoying the sun without a full swim.

Our own line of outdoor furniture, Island Imports, plays a key role in the pool's design. We design, manufacture and import the Island Imports collections in a factory-direct container program, providing our clients with exceptional quality at attainable pricing.

To complement the home's modern exterior, we chose the Studio Stacking Chaise Lounge in a striking Asteroid finish. Its clean lines and dark color provide a beautiful contrast against the stone patio and the home's cool tones. While its powder-coated aluminum frame offers a contemporary look, it's also built for coastal living: lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to move.

Contrary to typical design principles, we opted for matching Studio Stacking Dining Chairs around the teak dining table. This cohesive approach allows the landscaping, architecture, and other focal points to truly shine.

Reimagining a classic silhouette with modern sensibilities, our Cabo Collection finishes the patio design. Perfectly equipped with the resilience demanded of a coastal environment, teak furniture is the longstanding workhorse of the outdoor furniture industry. Salt air, high winds and seasonal wear only improves the look of solid teak furniture, its high natural oil content protecting it from cracking and other wood-ailments, making it a mainstay of many coastal exteriors.

The poolhouse features our comfortable and stylish Relax Bay Collection, a perfect complement to the modern lines and dynamic contrast of the Studio Collection. Plush Sunbrella cushions offer interior-level comfort while resisting stains, fading, and weather damage—even from wet swimsuits.
